Quiet space with "sound off" in a wooden school building
Kirinkan coffee shop [written communication café] is offline during business hours. This café allows visitors to enjoy conversation through written communication, sign language, and gestures.
Kirinkan is a closed-down wooden school building, designated as a nationally important cultural property. The natural sounds coming from the quiet school building provide a moderate background music, making it a comfortable workspace environment.
The old desks and chairs from the elementary school of that time are used here, and although it is not a space suitable for desk work, it is a space where work can strangely progress, perhaps because of its environment.
In addition, although it is a café, you can also experience a part of welfare for the handicapped.
