Verde offers attractive outdoor events such as SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) and kayaking programs on the Miya River, the clearest river in Japan, trekking in Osugi Valley, one of the three largest canyons in Japan, and cycling along the Kumano Kodo, a World Heritage site.
